Digital transformation offers new possibilities and poses significant challenges, impacting all scientific fields and ushering us into a new era of civilizational paradigm shift. Consequently, it is urgent to reflect on the opportunities, dialogues, and challenges emerging from the relationship between the Humanities and the rapidly growing digital transformation. Therefore, this special issue invites researchers in the Humanities to submit contributions from various disciplines within the field (Literature, Cultural Studies, Languages, Linguistics, Language Didactics, among others), that critically engage with the following questions:
- Will digital transformation allow for a reinvention of the articulation of art, culture, science and technology?
- What interactions can be established between the Humanities and digital transformation?
- What is the long-term impact of digital transformation on the teaching-learning process within the Humanities?
Submissions will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English. Authors must follow the submission and formatting guidelines of the journal: https://revistas.uminho.pt/index.php/diacritica/about/submissions.
