Abstract

Literary production and reading practices on digital platforms have been expanding, and within this movement, fostering various studies that investigate the transformations brought about by Digital Information and Communication Technology (DICT) in literature produced in digital media. Reflecting on such practices involves considering the changes, at different levels, related to the configuration of the literary, as well as the fluidity and creation of different forms of expression that contribute to a more humanized understanding of technology, as it subverts practices and "deprograms" technique.

From this perspective, the literature produced through languages mobilized in new media occupies new spaces of circulation beyond the static text on paper, combining writing with images, videos, music, and movement, and entering platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, games, etc., which enhance the dissemination, sharing, and appreciation of literary texts.

With the aim of fostering discussions and reflections on this landscape of literary production in digital media and the various manifestations and aspects that intersect with it, we have organized this thematic issue.
