Abstract

Vergílio Ferreira’s novels transform our lives into a novel, force us to cross frontiers (of space, philosophy and genetics) and clarify our condition as physical metaanimals, giving us language in a quasi-jazz mode, teaching us that love comes only after the end and that the world is inhabitable if we regard it from the perspective of impotence, leading our abandonment by the hand.
