Resumo

A Ecocrítica representa um novo paradigma nos Estudos Literários. Este ensaio tem como principais propósitos: 1) Reconstruir o percurso da Ecocrítica, desde a sua institucionalização na década de 1990 até à atualidade; 2) Pôr em evidência a relevância de estudos literários sobre o ambiente; 3) Identificar a natureza multidisciplinar da Ecocrítica e as suas tendências atuais e futuras.
