Pepetela`s A Montanha de Água Lilás making itself present, with the simplicity of a fable, but it is, above all, a political and social allegory that condemns the destruction of natural resources and the exploitation of man by man as a result of an economy of market guided by ambition and materialism. Lupis and Jacalupis, impressed by the easy wealth, impose the law of the strongest and adulterate the natural laws
