Vers une paysance nouvelle – transition écologique et démocratie

Abstract

The modern Western paradigm, the political focus of which is democracy, is called into question in multiple ways, including its very logical and ontological foundations. This concerns particularly ecology and human territoriality, since this paradigm has led to the Sixth Mass Extinction of life on Earth and to « the end of inhabiting Man » (Le Lannou). This article proposes a mesological perspective which would allow, by « relanding » the human, to carry out democratically the ecological transition which we must anyway fulfil.
