Análise da influência da lei 4538/2018 sobre os resultados do acolhimento familiar e a saúde mental infantil no âmbito do quadro de proteção infantil grego

Resumo

É analisada a implementação da Lei Grega 4538/2018 relativa à instituição social de acolhimento de crianças. Baseia-se numa tese de doutoramento que visa identificar as melhores práticas na promoção da desinstitucionalização de menores para melhorar a sua saúde mental. Foi utilizada uma abordagem de método misto, começando com um inquérito quantitativo que foi enviado a todos os diretores de lares infantis em toda a Grécia. Quatro lares infantis foram considerados agências de proteção infantil exemplares em termos de acolhimento. A segunda fase da investigação quantitativa foi realizada sobre os seus casos de acolhimento em curso. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com nove assistentes sociais que tinham assumido estes dezasseis casos de acolhimento de crianças. A investigação revelou que a acolhimento familiar de longo prazo para crianças entre os quatro e os seis anos (4-6) é comum e, muitas vezes, o acolhimento familiar leva à adoção, sendo raro o contacto com a família biológica. No geral, a investigação defende a necessidade urgente de criar um protocolo unificado de acolhimento familiar em toda a Grécia para garantir a consistência e a eficácia dos serviços de proteção infantil.

Ignatia Farmakopoulou , Departamento de Educação e Ciências Sociais (ΤΕpΕΚΕ), Universidade de Patras

Ignatia Farmakopoulou é professora auxiliar de Serviço Social no departamento de educação e serviço social da Universidade de Patras, com a disciplina «Serviço Social: Aconselhamento Familiar». Ela leciona sete disciplinas, tais como Serviço Social com Famílias, Aconselhamento Familiar e Terapia Familiar. Realizou estudos de pós-graduação no Reino Unido (mestrado, doutoramento, 2 pós-doutoramentos) e, em seguida, trabalhou durante duas décadas como assistente social clínica e psicoterapeuta familiar na clínica de psiquiatria infantil da Universidade Ekpa, no hospital infantil «Agia Sophia». Lecionou em vários departamentos universitários, tem um rico trabalho de investigação, inúmeras publicações e mais de 200 apresentações em conferências gregas e internacionais.

Vasiliki Baltsioti, Universidade de Patras, Grécia Assistente social escolar, psicoterapeuta sistémico

Vassiliki Baltsioti é atualmente candidata a pós-doutorado no departamento de educação e serviço social da Universidade de Patras. O tema do seu pós-doutorado é a colaboração multidisciplinar e interinstitucional entre assistentes sociais escolares, pais e agentes comunitários na deteção de alunos com perturbações psiquiátricas infantis. A sua tese de doutoramento versou sobre a implementação da instituição de acolhimento de crianças. Tem uma vasta experiência profissional como assistente social e terapeuta familiar em várias agências, tais como proteção infantil, e como assistente social escolar no ensino básico e secundário. Tem várias publicações internacionais e gregas e apresentações em conferências.

Ioannis Dimakos, Departamento de Educação e Ciências Sociais (ΤΕpΕΚΕ), Universidade de Patras

Ioannis Dimakos é professor auxiliar na área de Psicologia, Aconselhamento e Serviços Sociais do Departamento de Educação e Serviço Social da Universidade de Patras. A sua área de especialização é a Psicologia Escolar, com ênfase na Psicologia da Linguagem Escrita. Os seus interesses de investigação dizem respeito à prestação de serviços psicológicos nas escolas e ao estudo da expressão escrita em crianças em idade escolar.
