Lexical Availability (LA) has established itself as a scientific discipline that explores the lexical competence of speakers in their mother tongue or in foreign languages, since its origins in the second half of the 20th century in France as a tool at the service of teaching FLE to immigrants. In the Hispanic context, driven mainly by the contributions made since the Panhispanic Lexical Availability Project (PPHDL), the field has experienced a significant development, characterised by constant methodological renewal and the design of tools for data collection and processing. This Thematic Dossier welcomes proposals for publication in this scientific area that focus on dimensions of LA such as the following:
o Lexical Availability Theory and Methods.
o Lexical Availability and Language Teaching.
o Lexical Availability and Variation.
o Lexical Availability in Multilingual Contexts.
o Psycholinguistics and Lexical Availability.
o Lexical Availability and Artificial Intelligence.
Contributions will be accepted in the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Galician, Catalan and English.
