Samira Almeida Pinto is a specialist in Educommunication, from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (2015), with research on electronic technology and innovation in reading, and children's literature and its integration in formal and non-formal education of children. She has a degree in Social Communication - Journalism - from the Methodist University of São Paulo (2002) and researched the relationship between technology and journalism with the title "The new technologies and ethics in photojournalism" on a scientific initiation scholarship from FAPESP, supervised by Ronaldo Entler. She has 10+ years of experience as editor of art and architecture magazines (Bamboo Magazine and Dcasa Magazine), and as reporter on the same subjects (Casa Claudia, Casa Vogue, Kaza, Arquitetura & Construção, Robb Report and Folha de S. Paulo), besides collaborating with the iG and UOL portals, writing reports and columns about fashion, luxury, decoration, tourism, art, culture and entrepreneurship. She was an architecture book editor (Ed. Casa Mix) and author of a conventional children's book (Paulus Editora).
