This work aims to present a tutorial on how to access the Google Classroom online class platform for the students of Centro Interescolar de Línguas (CIL) from Recanto das Emas – a city on the outskirts of Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. The purpose of the tutorial is to introduce CIL students – in a playful way and with simple language – to the platform, given the difficulties reported by students when trying to access such mechanism. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, regular teaching in schools has been suspended, giving rise to remote teaching. As many students in our city live a socioeconomically vulnerable situation, access to technology is restricted, causing many operational difficulties when accessing technologies in the context of remote education. The impact of the tutorial has been quite positive, reached several cities, and it has been presented by the State Secretary of the Federal District Department of Education as “a tool that facilitates access”. The tutorial has been presented in local newspapers and on television networks as a practical, playful and enlightening tool on how to access Google Classroom, enabling a large number of students to access remote education.
